Traditional Building Skills, Conservation Courses and Lectures

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and the resulting unpredictability from month to month, we will be postponing all our face-to-face courses (lectures and practical courses) until March 2021. While we realise this may come as a disappointment, our primary concern is the safety of our delegates, tutors, staff and the wider public.

We anticipate we will be providing some digital lectures on our website in coming months and we will provide updates in due course. In addition our team are currently working on an exciting new syllabus for next year which we will post on our website in early 2021. Please do check for regular updates.

If you have any ideas and suggestions for future courses please contact us and let us know at

You can also register your interest for courses and we'll let you know when a date has been agreed.

Our Traditional Building Skills and Conservation Courses Programme has been designed to enable conservation and building professionals, contractors, general builders, and the owners and managers of historic buildings and sites, the opportunity to increase their knowledge and skills in the conservation management and repair of historic buildings and the wider historic environment. All our courses and lectures are delivered by leading craftsmen and experts in their specialist fields.
