Contact UsFrequently Asked Questions
How much training do you provide?
We have a strong learning culture and believe in investing in the development of our people. Whatever stage of your career you are at, we encourage a minimum of 5 days CPD per annum and provide the budget to enable that. We also support technical and post-graduate qualifications where these meet a business need, and the external programmes of skills training that we run each year provide further opportunities for high-quality learning for everyone in our team.
How many days do you work in the office?
Our office in County Hall, Chelmsford is available for anyone in our service to work in, every day of the week, but each of our teams has a mandatory day in the office: Monday - Built Environment; Tuesday - Historic Environment; Wednesday - Natural Environment. We also have Collaboration Thursdays at the end of the month, when people from different teams come into the office and may follow it up with an after-work social event, and our management team and principals are also in the office on the first Thursday of the month.
