Khwezi is a motivated Architectural Technology and Design graduate with a strong interest in inclusive and sustainable placemaking as well as BIM-led workflows. Through her studies at the university, she has developed a versatile technical foundation combined with people-focused, thoughtful design approach, she is particularly interested in how placemaking and technology can work together to shape environments that improve quality of life and reflect cultural identity. While also having knowledge surrounding elements of construction project management and procurement – giving her a varied amount of knowledge in regard to the RIBA plan of works.
A key highlight of her degree was presenting her final-year studio project internationally in Hong Kong as part of a student design exchange. This experienced broadened her global design perspective, communication skills and deepened her understanding around cultural sensitivity within the build environment.
She has developed strong skills in Revit, AutoCAD, Sketchup, and Adobe Creative Suite, applying them across technical drawings, BIM documentation, 3D modelling, and visual communication – these shown through the full BIM tender package for “The Mole House”, ensuring building regulation compliance.
Her voluntary work as a befriending volunteer has developed her active listening, empathy and communication – qualities she brings to her design approach and teamwork.
