Azizul Karim

Azizul joined Place Services in 2020 as a Built Heritage Consultant. With extensive experience in built heritage, historical research, cultural heritage and historic environment, his key strengths are the recording and assessment of historic buildings and conservation areas, with a focus on planning and sustainable development.
Specialising in GIS and spatial analysis, 2D and 3D CAD, photogrammetry, measured and aerial surveys, Azizul has worked on a wide range of historic buildings, including Grade I and II listed buildings. As a buildings archaeologist, he took part in several major conservation and restoration projects by both the National Trust and Historic Royal Palaces.
