Olivia has two years’ experience as a professional ecologist, having previously worked for Ground Control Ltd’s ecology team. There she gained well-rounded experience in surveying and reporting habitats, as well a range of species including bats, great crested newts, reptiles and badgers across small- to medium-sized infrastructure, commercial, and residential schemes.
Olivia has a particular interest in biodiversity net gain and is knowledgeable on the legislation and requirements. She has previously been involved in producing habitat management and monitoring plans, carrying out associated metric calculations, and in the monitoring of habitat banks.
She also has a developing interest in amphibian ecology and surveying, and currently volunteers for the Essex Amphibian and Reptile Group.
