Templar Heritage Trust Bursary Scheme
Place Services are pleased to offer a bursary scheme funded by the Templar Heritage Trust (THT). The Templar Heritage Trust is a Foundation Charity Incorporated Organisation (CIO), registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales under charity number: 1202183.
THT will fund up to 50% of course fees for successful applicants as part of their charitable objective:
To advance the education of the public by providing grants for the training in the crafts of historic building restoration or conservation, primarily for the benefit of young, unemployed, or disadvantaged persons or persons who would not otherwise be able to afford such training.
Eligibility
- The selected course should link to either the applicant’s existing work practice or an aspiration to work in the heritage sector.
- Applicants must show a commitment to expanding their knowledge of the heritage sector and the subject of the course.
Application procedure
Applicants are required to complete this application form to demonstrate their eligibility. Applicants will need to describe their qualifications (if applicable), experience, and explain why they want to attend their chosen course.

Selections procedure
Applications will be assessed by the management team at Place Services. Recipients of the bursary will be selected based on the information provided and meeting the criteria of THT’s charitable objective.
