This morning course is designed to provide an understanding of the planning system for those who own a listed building or live within a Conservation Area. It aims to demystify key planning terms and processes which are most commonly used, and provide guidance for those who live with heritage assets and would like to understand more about their buildings, areas and planning policy.

The course will be led by Tim Murphy Historic Environment Manager at Place Services. Tim (IHBC, MCIfA) has extensive experience working in both the private and public sector as a Heritage Consultant across the UK and Ireland. He is the Historic Environment Manager at Place Services, managing both historic building and archaeological development control support to several local planning authorities in the east and south east of England.
