Working alongside Essex County Council and the School of Environmental Sciences at University of East Anglia, Place Services has helped to produce a Green Essex Story Map.
The Green Essex Story Map provides a visual and interactive tool and it is evidence of the Essex Green Infrastructure Strategy. It also intends to help identify needs and opportunities to enhance green infrastructure across the county and inform planning in Greater Essex. Bringing together more than 21 data sets, the Green Essex Story Map provides support to Local Planning Authorities and partners to incorporate Green Infrastructure into decision-making.
