Almudena Quiralte Palomar, Kim Howell, Sarah Coupat, Megan Cowell, Amy Flint, Laura Cohen and Janneke Gilissen spent a day volunteering at Markshall Estate in Coggeshall this week, planting bulbs across the grounds in the morning and then some trees in their new Himalayan area of the Arboretum.
This particular area, together with their new attenuation basin, was created in partnership with the neighbouring airfield, who were building a new hanger and needed an area for SuDS and somewhere for their cut material. Both decided to work together to achieve a fantasic result!
The Landscape Team were also kindly offered a tour of the grounds along the way which included a pit stop at the wonderful Honeywood Oak.
Overall it was a wonderful day, and the team were very lucky with the weather, having experienced all four seasons in one day!
