In 2022, it will be Place Services’ 10th anniversary. To mark the occassion members of the team have set themselves a personal challenge.
On Friday 13th May, the team will set off on the Three peaks Challenge. The challenge involves climbing the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales, one after each other, in 24 hours.
The challenge will start up in Scotland at Ben Nevis, then going to Scafell Pike in the Lake District and finishing in Wales at Snowdon.
It’s going to be a huge undertaking, involving a lot of training, but we’re all very much looking forward to it.
It is also a fantastic opportunity for fundraising. We’ve chosen three charities that are all hugely important in Essex - Mind, South Essex Wildlife Hospital and Essex Air Ambulance. If anyone would like to donate, the links are below.
