Place Services employs highly qualified and experienced consultants who can provide complete client support relating to damage, subsidence and other insurance claims, providing initial case assessment, review of technical evidence, reporting. If required, we can serve as expert witness and give evidence in formal settings.
This extends to providing an expert opinion on the foreseeability of an event, the reasonableness of previous management or mitigation measures, and recommendations for future management and maintenance if retention is possible.
To fully understand the condition and future contribution of trees, we deploy advanced decay detection equipment to build an accurate picture of the presence and extent of decay, which we use to assess the risk of failure and to inform management recommendations.
We also have Vet Cert qualified consultants who can provide comprehensive services in relation to the identification, management and maintenance of Veteran Trees. They use recognised survey methodologies to provide reliable classification of Veteran and near Veteran specimens, with advice on appropriate, bespoke techniques to prolong the life and value of these irreplaceable and individual features.
