Reece graduated with a BA (Hons) degree in Architecture and has worked as an architectural assistant for two years, which involved working on major healthcare developments. His experience includes working on the design and delivery of a large-scale new hospital and specialist mental health units.
During his degree at Anglia Ruskin University, Reece developed a strong foundation in design, placemaking and the built environment. His academic work fostered a keen interest in the role urban design and the built environment plays in shaping successful and healthy places.
Reece is an Assistant Urban Design Consultant within the Built Environment team at Place Services. He joined the team in 2026 and is passionate about creating sustainable, high-quality places that positively influence people's lives.
Reece now supports a wide range of urban design projects, contributing to design reviews, planning consultations and place-making initiatives across Essex.
