Tamanna joined Place Services as a Landscape Consultant, bringing experience of 3+ years in landscape planning, assessment and environmental consultancy across a wide range of development projects. With a strong understanding of landscape and visual assessment, planning policy and environmental considerations, she supports the delivery of high-quality landscape advice for both urban and rural developments.
Throughout her career, Tamanna has developed expertise in Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment (LVIA), landscape character assessment, green infrastructure planning and the preparation of planning and environmental reports. She has experience working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, helping to balance development needs with the protection and enhancement of landscape character and visual amenity.
Tamanna has a particular interest in creating sustainable and resilient places that respond sensitively to their landscape context. She is passionate about integrating environmental, social and aesthetic considerations into the planning process, ensuring developments contribute positively to local communities and the wider environment.
Her interests include landscape character, placemaking, green infrastructure, biodiversity enhancement and the role of landscapes in supporting health and wellbeing. She is particularly interested in how thoughtful landscape planning can help address contemporary challenges such as climate change adaptation, nature recovery and sustainable growth.
