Roshni is a Landscape Architecture Masters graduate from Writtle College, with a former degree in Architecture; her previous work within an architectural practice was largely consistent in residential schemes. Following this, her pre-construction experience comes from the preparation of tenders for a building contractor within the private sector.
During the course of her degree Roshni gained a firm understanding of the importance behind the application of theoretical approach toward design. Her primary interests lie within the provision of public space for social wellbeing and increased health benefits.
Her role at Place Services as a Junior Landscape Consultant allows her to create design proposals for new public realm projects, generate CAD visualisations, produce planning responses addressing visual impacts on the landscape; and she is also assisting in updating the refresh of the Essex Design Guide. Roshni is currently on the Landscape Institutes pathway to chartership.
