Aerial photographic assessment by Place Services of a proposed new pipeline route through land to the north of the new London Gateway development identified large areas of multi-period cropmarks. The aerial photographs were rectified and interpreted, and the mapped cropmark plots were then used in association with other data to help identify the most appropriate and cost effective route for the new pipeline.
