This project re-assessed the Conservation Area of the historic village of Manuden in North West Essex, which was first designated in 1977. The re-assessment included the identification of a number of historic landscape features that play an important role in establishing the special character of the settlement, and incorporation of them into the revised boundary of the Conservation Area.
