Three Rivers Landscape Sensitivity Assessment (LSA)

Place Services' Landscape team were commissioned to provide a Landscape Sensitivity Assessment for Three Rivers District Council in 2019, with several follow up Addendum documents for additional sites over recent years. The conclusions of the study will inform the selection of suitable sites for allocation in the Local Plan Review and provide a sound basis for decision making in the determination of planning applications.

The assessment provides a landscape sensitivity score, ranging from low to high, of potential development sites across the district.

The most recent Addendum to the study was undertaken in January 2026.
