Place Services' Landscape team provided specialist support to Tendring District Council in preparing the evidence base for the emerging Local Plan.

The commission involved updating the Tendring Landscape Character Assessment (LCA) to ensure it reflects current landscape conditions and characteristics across the district. The updated assessment provides a robust evidence base, including a comprehensive review of landscape character and the preparation of high-level landscape management and development guidelines to help inform future planning and decision-making.
