The Wadden Sea Region is an internationally important wetland along the Dutch, German and Danish coastlines. Place Services was commissioned by English Heritage to undertake a historic environment characterisation project for the London borough of Barking and Dagenham. a descriptions for an on-line 'Cultural Atlas', and best-practice guidance on management of the historic landscape. We also carried out a comparative analysis, which systematically compared the landscape and heritage of the region on an international level, in order to better present and communicate its outstanding qualities.
