Azizul joined Place Services in 2020 as a built heritage consultant. With extensive experience in built heritage, historical research, cultural heritage and historic environment, his key strengths are recording and assessment of historic buildings and conservation areas with a focus on planning and sustainable development.
Specialising in GIS and spatial analysis, 2D and 3D CAD, photogrammetry, measured and aerial survey, Azizul worked on a wide range of historic buildings including Grade I and II listed buildings. As a buildings archaeologist, he took part in several major conservation and restoration projects by both National Trust and Historic Royal Palaces.
