Tom is an Assistant Ecological Consultant who joined Place Services in 2022. He undertook a Bachelor’s degree in Biology at the University of Gloucestershire and a Masters degree in Applied Ecology and Conservation from University of East Anglia. He is currently gaining experience in assisting with surveys, ecological impact assessments, and environmental project work.
His role is to support the existing team of ecologists by assisting with project delivery and working as part of the wider Place Services multidisciplinary team. This includes providing ecological advice to Local Planning Authority officers in relation to planning applications, for Essex County Council and for our District and Borough partners.
